Home to the set of the Virginian and a great family park, Ghost Mountain Ranch offers crisp, clean air, mountain views and trees – lots and lots of trees! Wednesday thru Sunday our park offers breakfast and lunch at the Ghost Town Saloon and as always outdoor activities are always encouraged!

Ready to get outside and start an adventure!? Just a short 17 minute drive from our Ghost Mountain Ranch Resort is the Sly Park Recreation Area. Home to Jenkinson Lake, this park offers so many opportunities for outdoor adventures!

Spring temps are typically around the 60’s so bundle up and start your day on a hike thru the Fleming Meadow Trails. Pack yourself a picnic and enjoy the scenery from tall pines to waterfalls – these trails are amazing during the spring/summer seasons.

When the temp’s start to warm up, bring out your boats, kayaks and paddle boards! Lake Jenkinson has lots of day use areas to pull the boat up and enjoy the sunshine. Fishing and swimming around the lake are just some of the ways to get the family together and make some memories.

Full day? Hungry kids and family? No problem! Make your way back towards Ghost Mountain Resort and pick up dinner along the way! Sly Park Road and the Pony Express Trail have some great local restaurants to grab a bite to eat.
